Daniel E. Phillips, MA,

Dan received the Bachelor's degree from Auburn University (1973)
and the Master's degree from the University of Memphis (1975) with a
major in Speech Pathology. In August 2004 he received the
Educational Specialist degree in Educational Administration at the
University of Montevallo and is currently pursuing a Doctorate
in Educational Leadership.
He has worked primarily in rehabilitation settings with both
inpatients and outpatients with a variety of communication
problems. He and Dr. Waguespack have worked together in a team
approach to manage voice problems for the past 10 years. Dan
is currently a member of the faculty at the University of Montevallo
in the Department of Communication Science and Disorders. He
serves as an Associate Graduate Faculty member and Coordinator of
the department's undergraduate studies. Recent research has focused
on the occurrence and prevention of voice problems in classroom
teachers.
